Amrita-Shahid Pairing it on!

Where has the talented petite actress Amrita Rao gone? She has not been in the news since her last film, which was last year. Well those who think that she's out of the "bollywood market" THINK AGAIN! The talented actress who had two super hits last year, has successfully completed two films and both are ready to release this early October! And that's not all. For all Shahid and Amrita fans will be seeing this duo not once but twice this year! First being a truly anticipated film made by Mahesh Manjrekar titled "Life Ho Tou Asi". The star cast includes Sanjay Dutt, Shahid Kapur and Ishaan Kapur. The film is supposed to be a light entertainer were Amrita plays a tuition teacher. Lets hope the film can create the same magic as it did in their previous film Ishq Vishk. The film is all set to release in October, while its promos will start to hit by mid August. Amrita's second venture is directed by none other than John Mathan Matthew and is titled Jeevansh. Along with Amrita and Shahid the film also star's Ajay Devgan and Bipasha Basu. The film has been wrapped up and is all set to release in Diwali. As these two films are all set to release do we see another super hit pairing in the making?

Amrita Rao--- Actors Who Yet to Be Paired!

We have looked at the tremendous pairings of Amrita and her co-stars, on their screen "chemistry". Amrita has worked with many talented actors and directors. However they are many actors that Amrita has not worked with yet, but hopefully will work in the future! Lets go through some of actors who would look great with Amrita in the future. Amrita/Hrithik Roshan: - We all know Hrithik Roshan is a superstar. Hrithik who has great potential in acting, should at least have one movie with Amrita in future. The pairing looks new and fresh! We all know Amrita is not as tall as Hrithik but the pair would remind us from one of the past pairs, none other then the pair of Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan! With a decent story line and other right ingredients can do just the trick to make this pair one of the best onscreen! Amrita/Saif Ali Khan: - When ever people hear the name of Saif Ali Khan, they start to smile. Why wouldn't they? Saif who is a fantastic actor showed his talent in films like DCH, KHNH, and the much recent Hum Tum. Amrita had tried a comedy film in Masti, in a small cameo. Saif and Amrita, in a film together would continue the comedy feast! Obviously with a backdrop of a romantic angle, this pair would click from day one! Another star pairing should be done in the future! Amrita/Salman Khan: - Why not? Amrita has been paired with senior actors like Ajay Devgan, Shahrukh Khan, Akshey Khanna. Another Khan to the list that wont cause any harm. Hey! Salman has also paired up with newcomers, he has worked with Boomika Chawla, and the much recent Miss World Priyanka Chopra. It would be different to see Salman and Amrita work together. Will it click?? Well the film should be a total entertainer, to click with the audiences. Amrita/Fardeen Khan: - Another Khan added to the list! The reason why I think Fardeen and Amrita can make a decent pair because Fardeen has great acting potential, and will be very well suited with Amrita in a romantic entertainer. Amrita/Arjun Ramphal: - Another actor who entered the industry few years back. Although he has not made a path breaking performance. He has tried many action roles, its about time that he should do some romantic roles as well. A perfect leading lady can be just our Amrita! Again, with a right story, and the right director, another awesome pair can be witnessed! Gel-Less As they are amazing pairings, like wise they are also actors which wont gel with Amrita as well. Actors like Tusshar Kapoor, Uday Chopra, Aamir Khan, Sajay Dutt, or Aftab. With all due respect to all actors, not that they are not talented, but to form a "perfect pair" a certain look has to build up. Unfortunately that certain spark in pairing like Aamir, Sanjay, or Uday. Sanjay and Amrita have worked together in Deewaar. She has few scenes with the actor but again not in a romantic angle. Amrita who is signing limited films, with decent scripts, and good direction the above actors would sparkle with Amrita on screen. Hopefully we can see few of these pairing in the near future!

Amrita Rao-On-Screen Pairings

Amrita who has five films to her credit now is riding sky high. Her latest release Deewaar is going to hit the theaters next week. She has worked with the biggest stars, from Ajay Devgan to Akshey Khanna. She has shared a electriflying chemistry with all her co-stars. She is known to be one of the hard working and dedicated co-star. Lets take a look of the on screen chemistry that Amrita shared with her co-stars. Amrita-Arya Babbar Film: Ab Ke Baras:- This was Amrita and Arya's debut film. Although the film fell flat on the box office. Amrita and Arya's performences were recognized. The on-screen chemestry was decent. However the couple was now shown a very "hot" chemistry. The story's backdrop made the couple less charasmatic. However the second half of the film, had certain chemistry with the two village lovers, but that was not enough for the whole film to last. The songs were not as inspring enough to make them as the "ideal couple" Dewane Aate Jaate can be song that brings the most "chemistry between the two. Overall Screen Chemistry: **/***** 2/5 Amrita/Ajay Devgan Film: TLOBS:- Amrita played a villiage girl who falls in love with Bhagat Singh (a freedom fighter) She has a very small role in the film but the couple of Ajay and Amrita does stand out! The film shows how Bhagat Singh, does not want to get married, but her love for him never ended. They had one song togather in the film. Maahive, showed her love for Bhagat Singh that brought some chemestry on. The love for her freedomfighter was very sweet, and caring. The love was expressed very beautifully, not artifically. At first I thought the pairing of Ajay-Amrita would look odd, but Raj Kumar Santoshi had potrayed the pairing very fresh, that didnt look odd in the film at all. I dont think anyone would mind to see this pairing again with the right script and the right roles! Overall Chemistry: ***/***** 3/5 Amrita/Shahid Kapur Film:Ishq Vishk:- This couple is one of the most fresh and young couple that brought on to the screen. The pairing of Shahid and Amrita is fablous. In fact everyone loves the teeny-boppy look they had in Ishq Vishk. Amrita who played a sweet shy college girl who is head over heels in love with her childhood buddy Shahid! Not only Amrita played her part with justice, Shahid's outstanding performence helped the on-screen chemistry go in to the next generation! They were certainley the couple of the "next generation!" The songs were very well picturzied between the couple, and lot of chemestry was shown which is one of the reasons why the film became a huge hit! "Aankhon Ne" was a sweet love song picturized on them.The climax scene is one of the best scenes in the film, which shows the teenegers in love! Shahid and Amrita are coming again on screen with a brand new film called "Life Ho Tou Asi" One film which is truly going to be the worth the wait! Overall Chemistry: ****/***** 4/5 Amrita/Vivek Oberoi Film: Masti:- Amrita plays a over protective "satellite" wife of Vivek Oberoi. Although she has a small role in the film, but she acted supurbly! The pairing and the comedy timing of Vivek and Amrita geled on screen very well! Although the film is based on a backdrop off comedy, they very few romantic scenes among this couple. However in these little romantic scenes they shared a good chemistry. A song in the film were their most love chemistry is shown is "Saiyan Ji". This pair should come in more films as a romantic genre! A must see couple again on screen! Overall Chemistry: ****/***** 4/5 Amrita/Zayed Khan Film: Main Hoon Na:- Main Hoon Na starred lods of stars including the king of Bollywood Shahrukh Khan, along with Sushmita Sen, with Amrita and Zayed Khan! One of the biggest strenghs in the film was the pairing of Amrita and Zayed. The pairing was fresh, although it was not as electrifying as the Shahid Kapur pair, but Zayed and Amrita were looking hot togather in this flick. As Zayed was playing a cool dude, Amrita who secretly loves him plays a tom boy who transforms in a modern girl latter in the film. The qawwali track showed the most amount of chemistry between the two in the film. Another couple that one wont mind on screen again! Overall Chemistry: ***/***** 3.5/5 Amrita/Akshey Khanna Film: Dewaar:- Dewaar is going to be Amrita's sixth film. She again, has a small role in the film. She plays opposite to Akshey Khanna. Not much can say about the film right now. But the couple of Akshey and Amrita is looking really HOT! The promo of "Piya Bawri" where Amrita is dancing in the rain trying to seduce Akshey in the song, has been picturized awesome. As far as her role goes in the film, one only ahs to find out on June 25th. Overall Chemistry: ***/***** 3/5 Amrita has played variety of roles, with different co-stars. She has been paired with all her co-stars and shown good chemistry towards most of her co-stars. However they are other pretty charming actors, who would look great with Amrita and hopefully will work with her in the future.

Amrita Rao- Upcoming --Deewaar

The one actress who his riding sky high this year is none other than Amrita Rao. After her fabulous performance in Main Hoon Na she is waiting for next release which is again a multistarrer "Dewaar Lets Bring Our Heros Home" The film stars Amitabh Bachchan,Sanjay Dutt, and Akshey Khanna. She is casted opposite to Akshey Khanna for the first time. In fact the promos of the film are flying high. Amrita is looking hot dancing in the rain in the promo of "Piya Bawri" She is playing a young girl who is head over heels in love with Akshey Khanna. "It was great playing the role, even though its a small role, the role was very well sketched out." In fact as many of you can recall, Amrita is playing a village girl for the second time. Her first, was when she starred opposite to Ajay Devgan in The Legend Of Bhagat Singh. At first Amrita turned down the offer "There were hardly any scenes when we talked about the film the first time. I would have been lost amidst a hero-oriented war film," she claims, adding, "Later, they returned after making some changes in the script so that I made a substantial contribution to the film." As the film is expected to release by the end of this month. This will be Amrita's third release this year in just three months! All Amrita fans, watch her out in this one…

Amrita Rao- The Star of Tomorrow

She was first seen in Fairever Face Cream ads few years back. Her cute face and bubbly attitude brought all the ad companies running towards her. After doing numerous ads like Perk chocolates, Nestle - Bru Coffee Cadbury's - Wringly Chewing Gum and Parachute Jasmine - Hair Oil Amrita Rao was in the ad business! In just few months director Raj Kanwar debutant her and Arya Babbar in "Ab Ke Baras" Although the film fell flat at the box office, the 20 year old was noticed for her cute looks and passable acting. Then came a small comeo in The Legend Of Bhagat Singh opposite to Ajay Devgan. She played the love interest of Bhagat Singh and was noticed among the critics. But it was Ken Ghosh's "Ishq Vishk" that led her to fame. Starring with newcomer Shahid Kapur, Amrita played a college student who stole many hearts. A simple college love story turned out to be 2003's first hit. Amrita was welcomed into the industry. After nearly a year Amrita had two new releases that clicked at the box office and with the critics. Masti directed by Indra Kumar, turned out to be a hit. Even with the small presence in the film, she showed her acting potential in a comic role. A month later Farah Khan's Main Hoon Na released. Amrita played a tom boy with a girl of a heart perfectly. The film clicked to the audiences, and critics could not get enough of her. Amrita had finally arrived and is here to stay ! She is getting poured with offers, but is limited in signing new films. She says " At the moment I am very picky about signing, as I want to try different roles". At the moment she has another multistarer called "Dewaar" opposite with Akshey Khanna which is slated to release this month and a Untitled film with Shahid Kapur.
