George: Okay, we're back here @ the red carpet, the 2002 MuchMusic Video Awards pre-awards show. We have here Amber Benson from Buffy. How are you? Amber: I'm good! How are you? George: Good, very nice to see you. You look lovely. Usually when we have someone on the red carpet, we talk about the season, what comes next. Your character's dead. Amber: I know, shot through the heart. George: Is that some karmic payback, shot through the heart? Amber: Well, you know when you play a lesbian witch, you gotta get killed, you've gotta get killed in this fun kind of exciting way, so the heart was the way to go. George: (talking about Buffy the movie and turning into this cult tv special) Did you guys have any idea that it would become what it did? Amber: You know I kinda came in late in the game, so I knew what I was getting into but I don't think Sarah, Alyson or the others knew what was gonna happen. But it's crazy, we have the most amazing fans though, they love us. George: Will they bring your character back, in some crazy dream you know... It's not humans all the time. Amber: You never know, Buffy will be dying and come back, so, hopefully. George: Amber's gonna be here tonight, she's gonna be introducing Avril Lavigne. Thank you very much.
